Authentic + One of a Kind
We pride ourselves in the unique processes we use and individualized nature of our works. Because of this, no two made to order works are exactly alike. Pieces may vary slightly, and this is one of the things we think makes our handmade, nature inspired jewelry so special.Similarly, all natural stones present inherent natural features that are unique to that stone. These features are proof of authenticity, and are not considered defects. Often times, they add character, and can be thought of as a stone's 'fingerprint'.
If we're sourcing a stone specifically for you as part of a custom project, we'll chat one on one about any unique characteristics of a stone in detail before we commit to owning it. -
Manufacturer's Defects
Katie Poterala Jewelry provides a one month manufacturer's warranty on every in stock, custom, or made to order jewelry or object purchased on our site. Returns are rare, as are defects, but we want you to know that you're covered for any defects in materials or workmanship. Returned items will be exchanged or repaired, depending on the nature of the piece and issue experienced.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, neglect, accidental damage, or abuse. -
Custom Warranty
Custom Projects are warrantied for a full year after completion for the same defects in materials and workmanship, and any future necessary repairs are handled on a case-by-case basis. If Katie feels that the problem is a result of something on our end, we'll fix it.
Typically, a piece won't require any repairs or modifications for at least 5-10 years, as most people are not especially hard on their jewelry.
