* Parti Sapphires are also referred to as polychrome, bi-colored, or tri-colored sapphires. These unique and rare gemstones are a mix of distinctly different colors, and can feature soft transitions in color or distinctive transitions in color, and some even display one of a kind striations or striped patterns where colors combine.  

Yellow and Green combinations are the most common Parti Sapphire color combinations.  Rarer color combinations include shades of purple and tri-color combinations.  


* The application of heat treatment on sapphires dates back centuries and is widely accepted in the global gemstone market. Heat treatment is used to improve color and is permanent, penetrating the entirety of the stone.   

*Heat treated Sapphires are often a bit more economically priced compared to visually similar non-heated Sapphires.
