CHOOSE YOUR DATE - Hammered Hoops - PRIVATE CLASS

3 Hour Class - up to 8 students!

Bring your friends and come fabricate your very own hammered hoop earrings from scratch!  

In this fun-filled class, students will learn to texture, form, solder, and finish a pair of hoops in solid sterling silver or gold-filled, and will be introduced to some of the most basic silversmithing techniques. Choose to make whatever size hoops you prefer!  

Absolutely no prior experience necessary!

Your choice of metal: 

Sterling hoops will be made with solid 14G wire, for sturdy, durable earrings.
Gold Filled hoops are made with slightly more delicate 16g wire, and are also solid.  Gold filled wire is brass underneath, but it's similar to plating -- but its a much, much thicker plating.  Gold filled is more durable and lasts much longer than gold plate (but not forever).  

BYOW! Students are welcome to bring their own bottle of wine to sip on while they work if you'd like.   

This listing is for a non-refundable deposit on your private group MAKE + SIP Class and it secures your date and time on my calendar.  An instruction fee of $60 is charged per student, plus materials.  Materials costs are sometimes a flat fee, and sometimes vary depending on material and size chosen.  Materials fees are different for each topic. 

*For this particular topic, materials options range from $35 for silver to $65 or more for gold filled (depending on size).

The deposit amount typically covers one student's participation at the lowest price material cost for the class.  Additional student costs and any balance on materials for the student who initially books will be taken care of either at the time of the class or can be invoiced ahead of the class if you'd prefer to pay for everyone in full.

If you are unable to maintain the date originally chosen for any reason, please notify Katie as soon as possible to choose another date for your group.  

Please note: Katie cannot offer refunds for deposits, as your time has been blocked off on our calender the moment you select it, preventing others from selecting the same date and time.  Extenuating circumstances do happen, so please see the policies below that are based on the time frame in which you have notified us of your cancellation:

• Please notify us at least 72 hours prior to the workshop date and time for full credit of your deposit towards another workshop.
• Less than 72 hours notice from class date and time, you will receive a 50% credit towards another workshop.
• If cancelled within less than 24 hours of your workshop, or if your group is a no-show to class, we cannot offer any refund or class credit.  

Age limitation:
This class is appropriate for students aged 16+, however students aged 9-16 may be permitted if a parent is also taking the class.
